Gwrhyd Pennant Stone Quarry

Gwrhyd Specialist Stone Quarry was established in January 2000 when a magnitude of Blue Pennant sandstone was unearthed by the Davies’ on their family farm in the Swansea Valley.

Due to the very high quality of the stone, Gwrhyd some nine years later has expanded rapidly; now employing 28 full time Welsh staff, and quarrying tons of stone each week to meet the growing demand. Gwrhyd has an exhaustive list of products to offer; these include paving, walling and masonry products such as window sills, hearths, mantels all types of Flagstone. They also supply various garden products e.g. rockery stone, water features and feature stones.
